Aprobado Presupuesto 2014-2015

En su segunda discusión logramos aprobar el presupuesto para el año fiscal 2014 -2015. Hemos estimado un monto de $ 55,213,079, para cumplir con nuestras metas en beneficio de nuestra Ciudad.



Como punto importante, en esta discusión, fue lograr mantener, para el equilibrio de este presupuesto, la tasa de amarillamiento de 1,9280 dólares por cada $ 1,000.00 de propiedad tasable. Conservando la misma tasa del año fiscal que está terminando. No actuamos pensando en aspiraciones póliticas, sino en nuestros residentes.


Unos $ 15,000,000 aproximadamente, serán invertidos en infraestructura. Obras como el Parque de la 114 Ave, la Segunda Etapa de la Sede del Departamento de la Policía y la apertura de algunas calles y avenidas como parte de darle solución al tráfico de la ciudad, estarán iniciándose para brindar respuesta a nuestros residentes.

Estamos trabajando. Hemos consolidado un gran equipo, encabezado por el City Manager y el Cuerpo de Directores. Todos apuntamos al crecimiento y desarrollo de esta gran ciudad.
