USDA Extended Hours Survey

To assist USDA in evaluating the implementation of their extended hours, USDA is asking the trade to submit our comments on their new schedule.

Could you please explain how the USDA expansion of their regular operational hours has impacted your operation?

We had requested this expansion for a long time and now we need to make sure the extended hours are maintained, otherwise they will go back to 08:00 to 16:30 previous shift.  Please submit your comments to FCBF via email or via fax so we can gather them for submission no later than Friday, May 16th 2014.

All Port Users Advisory Notice

Beginning today Tuesday, May 13th through Thursday, May 15th, South Cruise Boulevard will be completely closed between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. while crews pave the new roadway.  Drivers can follow posted detour via Florida Way to Europe Way to continue on South Cruise Boulevard.  Police will be on site to help guide drivers.  In addition, one lane will be closed during non-cruise days between 6 p.m. and 5 a.m., as needed.

Closure of NW 79 Avenue at NW 25 Street


All travel lanes on NW 79 Avenue will be closed from NW 25 Street to NW 29 Street on Thursday, May 15 between the hours of 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Drivers going north on NW 79 Avenue can:
  • Go north on NW 82 Avenue
  • Turn east on NW 29 Street to connect with NW 79 Avenue
Drivers going south on NW 79 Avenue can:
  • Turn west on NW 29 Street
  • Turn south on NW 82 Avenue
  • Turn east on NW 25 Street

Local access to businesses on NW 79 Avenue between NW 29 and NW 25 Streets will be provided from southbound 79 Avenue at NW 29 Street. The closure will allow the contractor to pour concrete on an overhead bridge.
