this session we will review in detail the following:

powers of attorney (POAs) as well as terms and conditions (T&Cs)
are essential to conducting business as a broker, forwarder, or
indirect air carrier. While faulty POAs can lead to
consequences with government agencies requiring such authorization,
deficient T&Cs can open up doors to unforeseen liability.
This session will take an exhaustive look at the provisions solid
POAs and T&Cs should contain, particularly the legal options in
order to avoid and limit financial liability. We will also
address the do's and don'ts of selecting insurance
and self-insurance options for intermediaries and their
potential liability.
